I can't believe I forgot about these animations.
It is a clay mation segment of a variety show (called "Kablam" which I used to watch on Saturday afternoons) about a alien teaching a caveman how to do various things, like light a fire or sleep in a hammock.
Just paying attention to the ambient sounds and voice acting.

-birds chirping
-spaceship flying/landing
-footsteps
-crashes
-camera remote
-alien/caveman/monkey/tiger sound effects
Some real nice caveman voice acting.
